The Return of the King culminates the story and will see the trilogy's most epic battles and intense emotions. Frodo and Sam struggle through the evil of Mordor itself towards the volcano of Mount Doom, facing their darkest hours yet, including a battle with the hideous giant spider Shelob. Meanwhile, the white city of Minas Tirith, home of Boromir and the kingdom of Aragorn's ancestors, prepares for battle even though its lord, Denethor (John Noble) despairs of victory and fears for his son Faramir (David Wenham).
